Hi there. The Friends of Murphysboro, a non-profit organization powered by an amazing group of volunteers decided to celebrate the local history of craft beer by hosting the first of many Big Muddy Monster Brew Fest events. The event has grown to include over 250 local beers and ciders, the exclusive Imperial Tent for a select number of ticket holders, delicious food trucks featuring the best of local cuisine, live music and games.
Hi there. The Big Muddy Monster Brewfest was celebrating it’s 8th year, and had began to grow stagnant. The committee of volunteers began to develop new ways to increase ticket sales and attendance at the event. The goal was to provide new and exciting events to keep returning attendees engaged, as well as expanding the target market to grow the percentage of new attendees. That meant reaching outside of Southern Illinois and tapping into craft beer loving markets in the tri-state area.
Hi there. We developed a theme around the Big Muddy Monster coming back to the event with more excitement than ever. Advertisements, posters, tickets, wristbands, other promotional products, and apparel were developed to reinforce this message. Products featuring the Big Muddy Monster were available in the merchandise tent, which included everything from special edition t-shirts, collectible beer steins, coasters, as well as a special collection of art prints.
